  1. All players are considered in-game for the entirety of their time on-site during game hours unless they are wearing an easily visible white headband or are indicating with a “hand-on-head” signal.
  2. When creating a character, players should refrain from copying or plagiarising popular characters from movies, books, or video games. You can cosplay your favourites on your own time. If players think of Jack Sparrow or Sheldon Cooper every time they see you, it ruins their immersion in the game.
  3. All bags or containers marked OOG are considered personal possessions and are not stealable. In-game (IG) items may NOT be stored in an OOG bag or container or in a player’s vehicle – doing so is considered cheating.
  4. Players in the bathroom are also OOG. Players may not be attacked or threatened while in the bathroom.
  5. Players may not retreat to an OOG area in order to avoid combat or threatening IG situations.
  6. While we understand that there are modern world items that you will bring with you (Cellphones, iPods, etc.), each player must ensure that they are not used in an IG area. If you need to use these devices, please go back to your vehicle or tent. Modern camping equipment, glasses, and watches are OK, but we ask that you try to conceal your watch. This goes with any necessary medical products. We’ll never stop anyone from keeping necessary medicine, EpiPens, or others items on you, but we ask that you conceal it if you can. It is also your responsibility to keep your valuables safe. It is not our responsibility if, for instance, you keep something in a soft leather bag that gets broken after a boffer hit. A game where you fight monsters in the dark is not the best place to carry around your Fabergé egg.
  7. If there is a conflict over rules, Shapers have the final say in how it will be resolved. That ruling will stand in the field. It can be revisited later at a more appropriate time (in shaper camp or out of game) but only in extreme circumstances will any retroactive changes be allowed. (i.e., if a PC dies as a direct result of a mistake, that death will be removed. If there was an incorrect call made and then shortly thereafter a PC dies from something unrelated to the direct call, then that death will likely stand.)
